The new year is upon us and with it comes the hope that a better year than last is ahead. I hope you have had an enjoyable and relaxing Christmas and are keeping safe as we kick off 2024.

There is a lot to do this year in Parliament as the National government looks to get New Zealand heading back in the right direction. I know many of you are looking forward to the promise of better days, and I will keep you up-to-date as we take action to deliver on that promise and improve the lives of all New Zealanders.

Renew your National Party Membership

As we prepare for a busy 2024, it is a good time to remind you that you can now renew your National Party membership to support our team as we deliver on the promise of change. We had a fantastic year in 2023 that culminated in an election victory and the formation of a new National-led government, and it is vital that we build upon that success over the next few years with an eye to the next election in 2026.

As a member, you can take part in events organised by your local National team, contribute to things like policy discussions and Party governance, and support us as we work on behalf of all New Zealanders. In particular, as we look toward the next few years and the 2026 election, it will be incredibly important that we get the chance to lock in the gains we make and prevent a Labour/Green/Māori coalition from upending the country the first chance they get.
